It's All About Me

Every day there are challenges that stand in our way. Things that prevent us from becoming the best version of ourselves. For me, those things are tiny. Excuses really.

So no more excuses. Let's get this blog started.

This is me doing one of my favorite things. Photo taken by Jacob (pictured below). I was completely taken by surprise or I would have made this look yummier!
And this would be Jacob.
And this would be Jillian.
Meet Tattoo and Meowdy, two of five feline family members.
My two favorite people on my most favorite beach.
So there is a little bit about me. Vague and impersonal. Just the way I like it.

Update:
In order to really put myself out there, evidently I need to "share" significant things and stop keeping everyone at arm's length. Well, good luck genuinely getting to know me. In an effort to be more accessible, I am going to share some personal data.

  • I graduated from Tate High School in 1995.
  • I graduated from PJC the same year (now it is a state college).
  • I graduated from UWF in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts (emphasis in print journalism) and a minor in English. What does that mean? I had enough credit to get either degree and I thought I wanted to be a writer. Get a good laugh about that one.
  • I moved to Atlanta in 1998.
  • I started grad school at KSU in 2012. I am working at a snail's pace to get my MAT in English.
Don't ask any personal questions because I probably won't answer them.
